Bio

I’m a reliable and motivated worker who takes pride in doing my job well. I work with a disability, which has helped me build resilience, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills. I’m organised, focused, and bring a positive attitude to my work. I enjoy working with others, communicating clearly, and being part of a supportive, inclusive team. With the right tools and understanding, I’m able to work effectively, meet expectations, and contribute in a meaningful way. I’m a friendly and dependable team member who enjoys helping customers and keeping things running smoothly. I have just completed my level 2 customer service training through National College. This has given me even more skills to fulfil my role and to have the confidence to contribute clearly to a welcoming and inclusive store environment. My employer has even taken on board and put in place my suggestions in how we can make the store more inclusive to all customers. We have reserved specific times two days a week for our ‘calm shopping sessions’. In these sessions we have dimmed lights, calming music playing and ensure more staff are on hand for our customers needs. Its aspects like this, that make me feel proud to do the job I do. Making a difference.
