Bobby has now been a fully qualified barista at Hope Café for six months. His natural friendliness has become one of his key strengths, and he handles busy periods with calmness and resilience.

His responsibilities include:

· Preparing and serving drinks

· Restocking ingredients such as coffee and syrups

· Maintaining clean and hygienic workspaces

· Following food hygiene and health and safety guidelines

Bobby shared that, at first, communicating with customers—especially during busy times—was challenging. However, through patience, practise, and a willingness to learn, he has become more confident. His communication skills, independence, and overall self‑belief have grown both inside and outside of work.

Because of his enthusiasm and positive attitude, Bobby is a valued and trusted member of the barista team at Hope Café.
